THOUGHT When I was reading and studying the book of Daniel and all the mean things that King Nebuchadnezzar did, never did I realize that The Lord would use him for His own need. God wanted to destroy Egypt’s military superiority and give it to Babylon. The rising and falling of all the different nations at times gets so tiresome to read about and hear about. However, God allows it to accomplish a particular purpose way beyond our immediate understanding.   I guess we should not despair when our country is involved in certain unrest and war conditions.  We must remember that God is sovereign and in charge of everything, even military might. Click on Title for Video Intro Monday, Ezekiel Chapter 25   Ezekiel 25 Delores Little THOUGHT In this chapter we find God taking out some nations that were speaking badly about His people.  The words that stand out are “Then you will know that I AM the LORD”.  We see these in verses 5, 7, 11 and 17. God says He will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them.  Hebrews 10:31 says, “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”  The nations in this chapter are Ammon, Moab, Edom & Philistia. We have more coming up in the next few chapters.  We serve a jealous God, and He wants to be the first in our lives every day once we come to Him by His Holy Spirit and Jesus our Lord. We are not to speak evil of His chosen people even though they have done wrong things. He wants us to PRAY, and that really is speaking to us today in the USA.
