Pray for our Country
With so much unrest in our country we wonder what the average citizen could do for out country!!
We may not be a politician involved in the election or a medical expert for the coronavirus or a licensed counselor who could suggest some ways to help with our emotions.  However, ANYONE CAN PRAY!!  Please read the Salt Shaker Prayer below written by Mindy!!  Pray it in several times a day!!  Our country needs our help!!

We lift up the Name of the Lord today.  We praise and thank Him because He is worthy.  We thank You for the freedoms that we enjoy in our home and the United States of America.  We ask, oh God, for a spiritual revival in our nation.  May it start with the Church of Jesus.  Let it begin within our own hearts, a desire to become a more holy and pure people.  Set a burden on our hearts to be in prayer for the leaders of our churches across this nation and also the political leaders who pursue and protect our rights and freedoms.  Let them pursue righteousness.   We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus.  Our nation needs You, God, more than ever.  We pray that as people turn towards You and give their lives to You, that You would heal this land and bring about true peace.  We pray that once again this nation would value God above all else.  We love You, Lord.  AMEN

    Thank you for this reminder! I know I need to pray for our leaders mote than I do. This is a great way for me to stay connected while living across the world!

Week Three, II Thessalonians  Monday, Introduction II Thessalonians Intro Jeanie Boldt THOUGHT This letter was written by Paul about 2 months after he had sent the first letter to Thessalonica. Many in the church were confused about the timing of Christ’s return. Many thought that He could come at any moment so they stopped working for the Lord and just waited. Adding fuel to the fire was the continued persecution of the church. Many felt that indeed this must be the “Day of the Lord”. Responding quickly, Paul sent a second letter to this young church. So why not this simple ‘wash and be clean’?” THOUGHT Why do we think that everything great that comes from God is huge, impressive, hard and heroic? Obedience to God begins with humility.
